The Son You've Become

Son, you've become the man
I always thought you would be;
Strong and courageous, you've evolved
Into a gentleman, true and free

As you walk this world all by yourself,
I know you're sure to go far,
We can hardly wait to watch and see
You shine like a newfound star.
