The Mystery of Our Love

Of all the people in this world,
I found you, and you found me.

Our lives entwine, our lives unfurl,
but the enigma is how we came to be.

Who can say what caused us to meet?
Was it written above in the stars?

If nothing is chance, then isn’t it sweet,
to think this love always was ours?

We just had to wait for it to appear,
like a ship sailing in from the sea.

When I saw you, and when you came near,
I knew you’d appeared just for me.
